Joshua Chengxiu Berndt is a Taiwanese-American actor and martial artist. Recently graduating from NYU Tisch with a double major in Acting and Psychology, Josh has written, directed, and performed in roles across stage and screen, including SadSadSad, Next to Normal, and Romeo and Juliet. Trained in musical theatre, screen acting, and stage combat, he is a certified combatant for multiple weapons and is fluent in Chinese. With a baritone voice, strong movement background, and extensive martial arts skillset, Josh brings vibrance and intensity to every role.
